@Dave_Goldsmith @DanDan420 yes... It's kind of conspicuous imo how the Progressives in the House only ever find their voices when they're in the minority. When D's had slight majorities in both House and Senate, the Progressive Caucus wouldn't dare FTV, maintaining the #SilenceOfTheDems in times when strong messaging and coordination might have been effective in passing popular legislation. There was at least Bernie in the Senate, but he's not even a Dem anymore.

In case anyone is wondering, the #SilenceOfTheDems on the current climate disasters is not an accident. In the void created by effective #scicomm, similar to the pandemic, people will turn to dumb AF social media influencers and right-wing pundits in their search for answers. Directly addressing #climatechange is an affront to the donor class and corporate oligarchy's global ambitions. By extension, warmongering is a huge contributor to GHG as well, we definitely won't hear about that either.
By the end of this week, moderate Dems will all find their voices and be like, "There's only way to move forward -- we must meet people where they are and stop reporting on unfavorable weather conditions. Or else Trump."
