Curating hashtags in biomedical science such as Symplur made the non-federated birdblog much more useful. 1/2
@firefoxx66 @happykhan I *think* I see the reasons for listing #chemistry or #virology for example in bio -especially reading @feditips post that you can log in to server and just follow those posts on your client app. In a sense much of finding the right people to follow on the birdblog was about working in a non-federated world? #learningbydoing #workingoutloud
